Below is a listing of 459 IPOs from 1980-2007 with multiple share classes outstanding. The number of shares listed is the post-issue number of shares, computed by adding together all share classes. For example, if a firm issues 1,000,000 class A shares in the IPO and also has 2,500,000 class B shares outstanding, the post-issue number of shares is 3,500,000. Appendix II of Loughran and Ritter's "Why Has IPO Underpricing Increased Over Time?" describes the source of information in more detail.
