IPOs from 1980 - 2007 with Multiple Share Classes Outstanding

Below is a listing of 459 IPOs from 1980-2007 with multiple share classes outstanding. The number of shares listed is the post-issue number of shares, computed by adding together all share classes. For example, if a firm issues 1,000,000 class A shares in the IPO and also has 2,500,000 class B shares outstanding, the post-issue number of shares is 3,500,000. Appendix II of Loughran and Ritter's "Why Has IPO Underpricing Increased Over Time?" describes the source of information in more detail. Much of the data has been supplied by Scott Smart and Chad Zutter.
